Tres Tintas Barcelona was born in 2004 in Barcelona as heiress of Papeles Pintados Aribau, a company that was funded in 1961 and this year celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Tres Tintas Barcelona becomes a new independent and alternative brand compromised with the international community of designers and bets for good design and internationalization. Tres Tintas is actually present in 42 countries. In the german market the official distributor is TapetenAgentur.
Tres Tintas Barcelona is the only Spanish brand specialized in the design and production of illustrated wallpapers and fabrics. Each collection is created by international and national designers. From its birth in 2004 till now, Tres Tintas Barcelona, has seven different collections.

Tres Tintas Barcelona is actually developing new products for the kids market (Tres Tintas Kids) “Once Upon a Time” is the name of its first collection. Patchwall “Creative kids, patchwork wallpaper” is the new product that will be released in Qubique. This new product comes from a collaboration with designer Juancrís Vera.
Patchwall is an emotional and didactic bet that consists in upcycling spare wallpapers into geometric forms. The combination of these forms create original and childish figures like: boys, girls, trains, castles, nests, robots, boats, flowers, etc. You can combine your chosen figure with a wallpaper roll.
You can find Patchwall in stores, its comfortable and attractive packaging will allow you to take it home and easily install it.
Tres Tintas Barcelona will also present at Maison Objet, Paris, its new collections in January 2012.

Juancrís Vera (Solingen, 1973) is a multidiscipline designer that lives and works in Barcelona in his own studio, developing communication projects in different creativity ways, where normally illustration is a main point in his designs. Juancrís gets close to an illustration world with an anti-style perspective. The Patchwall project would be a perfect example of this.
